Course Number: 18
CPE Self-Study Notes:
Ours is an increasingly litigious society. This course provides the framework by which to ensure your nonprofit organization/clients never face an unreasonable compensation challenge. Written from the perspective of those who have served as expert witnesses at the federal court level, this course offers practice approaches to ensure defense against complaints from disenfranchised boards, the IRS, and other outside agencies and regulatory bodies. At the very least, this course provides a host of preventive and contingent actions. Ultimately, it is a review of unreasonable compensation within the context of a Daubert challenge.
