The gender pay gap affects all aspects of compensation. This course teaches how to establish an equitable pay structure that will let the organization remain competitive in the marketplace, while remaining protected from lawsuits due to equal pay and comparable worth violations. These lawsuits can lead to sizable damage and lost wages awards. Therefore, a professional’s guidance on the equal pay issue is invaluable to an organization’s fiscal health. This course covers how the Equal Pay Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act regulate compensation decisions. It also teaches how to audit an organization for equal pay violations. Professionals can use this information both to defend employers and prepare gender pay discrimination lawsuits.
