Determining how much one should pay a salesperson and the manner in which that pay is received has far-reaching compensation, profit and expense impact. Sales compensation and sales expense reimbursement plans are essential in many organizations. Commission design is the heart of sales compensation strategy and sales force motivation. This course will teach you how to create sales compensation plans, by setting goals, choosing the plan type, selecting measures, creating formulas, and determining the sales cycle. You will also learn how to evaluate the plans effectiveness and to establish special allowance plans for expense accounts and travel. At the end of this course, you should be able to develop and administer a cost-effective sales compensation plan for your organization.
